Wizkid’s son, Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, known as Tife or Champz, has entered the music scene with his debut extended play titled "Champion’s Arrival." The five-track EP was released recently and quickly gained popularity, achieving over one million streams on Spotify within 24 hours and reaching number one on the Apple Music Nigeria Top Albums chart. At just 14 years old, Tife is one of the youngest artists in Nigeria to earn such recognition.

Tife shared the news of his EP on Instagram, stating, “The Champion has arrived. My debut EP ‘Champion’s Arrival’ is out now on all platforms,” which garnered a lot of attention online, with many fans complimenting his talent and confidence. The tracks on the EP include "Champion Montana," "Grind," "Superstar," "Champion Sound," and "Champion," showcasing Tife’s mix of rap and melody with influences from Afrobeats.

The project was produced by iamhosana_ and directed by DIKASTUDIOS, who also promoted Tife’s music journey with a popular teaser video. Before the full release, Tife shared a performance video that received significant engagement, raising excitement among fans. Many praised his maturity in music compared to his age. Tife’s mother, Shola Ogudu, expressed her pride in her son's accomplishments on social media.

This achievement has led to comparisons with Wizkid's success, as both father and son have topped the Apple Music chart within months of each other, further establishing the Balogun family's musical legacy.
