On Sunday, while Bad Bunny took the spotlight at the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, Kid Rock fired back with his own high-energy concert for Turning Point USA (TPUSA), aiming to offer an alternative for fans seeking a different vibe.

Kid Rock opened his “All American Halftime Show” with his 1999 hit “Bawitdaba,” instantly electrifying the crowd with his trademark raw energy.

Though some noted the heavy use of a backup track, Kid Rock’s performance struck a chord with fans.

He wrapped up with a heartfelt altar call, urging attendees to give their lives to Jesus, dedicating the show to TPUSA’s late founder, Charlie Kirk.

The concert was designed as a response to the NFL’s controversial choice to feature Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican rapper whose outspoken stance against ICE drew criticism from Trump supporters.

TPUSA polled its followers on music preferences, “Classic Rock,” “Country,” “Americana,” and “Anything in English” and Kid Rock, a vocal Trump supporter, was their pick to headline, joined by country acts Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.

Despite the Super Bowl’s massive audience, TPUSA’s event drew under six million viewers, far less than the estimated 100 million who watched the official halftime show.

Kid Rock’s concert underscored his role as a rallying point for conservative fans seeking music with a patriotic message, contrasting sharply with the cultural celebration headlined by Bad Bunny.

The final ratings will reveal who truly owned the night.
