The military is trailing some of the terrorists
In Niger state, eyewitnesses say several bandits who were killed while fleeing Zamfara and Katsina states, looked like foreigners.
The terrorists had fled their hideouts due to the ongoing military operations in those states.
The military says the fleeing bandits ran into troops in Alawa where scores of them were neutralised.
At the moment, the military is trailing some of the terrorists who escaped with bullet wounds.
