Lagos won’t be massively impacted by flooding if it happens
Lagos is not expecting the type of massive floods that have ravaged states across the federation especially Bayelsa and Kogi states.
Permanent Secretary, Drainage Services, Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Lagos State, Olalekan Shodeinde says the state has put in place measures to combat flooding.
As such, Lagos won’t be massively impacted by flooding if it happens.
Shodeinde was speaking in an interview on Channels TV.
According to him, about 100,000 or 200, 000 people may be affected but the Lagos State Government and other related agencies have issued warnings to residents about the possibility of flooding.
