Here's Why Wizkid Missed The 65th Grammy Award list

Multi-talented Afrobeat singer and songwriter Wizkid is excluded from the 65th Grammy Award list and this got fans talking and angry.

Grammy Award-winning artist Wizkid has been excluded from the 2023 Grammy Award list, and fans are having mixed feelings about this.

The Recording Academy has a time frame for which a song or body of work has to be released in other to make the list, the period runs from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022. Meaning Wizkid's "More Love Less Ego" was not released within the stipulated time frame.

Wizkid's MLLE was released 11th of November, 2022, which means the album is not eligible for the 65th Grammys Award but just in time for the 66th Grammys in 2024.

Recall Wizkid's last body of work "Made In Lagos" which was nominated for the Global Music Album and the global hit song "Essence" assisted by Tems was nominated under Global Music Performance.
