Statement made by Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu
The Federal Government is insisting it will not pay for works not done, despite the Academic Staff Union of Universities protest against payment of alleged incomplete October salary.
Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, expressed the Federal Government’s position on renewed face-off with ASUU.
This position was expressed after the week’s Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Adamu said the strike has been called off and the government has paid them what is due to them.
