The attack has left a Security Expert, Richard Amuwa in a confused state

Updates on the attack on Nigeria’s foremost military university, Nigerian Defence Academy, yesterday, by terrorists.

Latest reports from Kaduna suggest that officers who were supposed to be manning the CCTV cameras in the institution were sleeping just before the attack.

We hear the officers will face trial for dereliction of duty. The attack left two officers killed and one injured. One of the officers was also abducted.

Still on the attack on the NDA, the Arewa Consultative Forum says the invasion and desecration of the factory where all Nigerian military officers are produced, is an indication that Nigeria’s national security system is running on reverse gear.

Meanwhile, the attack has left a Security Expert, Richard Amuwa in a confused state.

Amuwa says if the Nigerian Defence Academy could be attacked, that means Nigeria is no longer a safe haven for its citizens. He feels with the attack; the security of ordinary people cannot be guaranteed.
