History has been rewritten at the 44th edition of Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant as Shatu Garko dressed in Hijab won the ultimate ten million naira grand prize and a brand new car. Garko defeated 17 other finalists at a keenly contested final held in Victoria Island Lagos.
