Tanker explosion claims the life of 15-year-old

The tanker explosion that happened at Ajegunle bus stop along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, claimed the life of 15-year old Oluwatobi Lawal. 
According to eyewitnesses, the fire began at about 2am this morning, after the petrol tanker with 45,000 liters of petrol lost control and spilled its content along the road.
Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency Ibrahim Farinloye, believes that the fire started when some persons started scooping the spilled petrol.

 

Meanwhile,
Unity Schools Old Students Association is unsettled by the current insecurity situation in the country. Speaking during a press briefing in Lagos, the President-General of the Association, Lawrence Wilbert, says members of the association want the government to grant the following demands. According to Wilbert, there will be a peaceful protest, if these demands are not met. 

 

And
Kenya’s former president, Mwai Kibaki, who led the East African country for more than a decade, has died. 
President Uhuru Kenyatta said this on state television, ordering a period of national mourning until the day Kibaki will be buried. 
The former Kenyan leader died at 90.
