Popular Nigerian singer/songwriter, Sound Sultan, has been laid to rest.
The singer, whose real name is Olanrewaju Fasasi, was buried at Marlboro Muslim Cemetery in Morganville, New Jersey.
Details of his death were announced by Dr. Kayode Fasasi on behalf of the family.
The statement said Sultan died after a hard-fought battle with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
He is survived by his wife, three children, and siblings.
