The government says it would not relent in ensuring that there is speedy justice
We begin the news this hour with assurances from the Lagos State Government to the family of late Bamise Ayanwole who was allegedly raped and killed by a BRT driver.
Ahead of the post-humous birthday of Bamise on the 30th of November, the government is pledging that justice will be served.
This assurance was given in a statement by the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Titilayo Shitta-Bey.
The government says it would not relent in ensuring that there is speedy justice even as seven witnesses have so far testified in the case.
