Seized items have been handed over to the Nigeria Police
Do you know fertiliser is a key component used in making home-made explosives?
Well, the Nigerian Army says that's why its 28 Task Force Brigade recently seized 200 bags of fertiliser in Madagali area of Adamawa state.
The Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, Major Haruna Sani, made the clarification in Yola while dismissing speculations that the soldiers were selling seized fertiliser to farmers in the state.
He says the seized items have been handed over to the Nigeria Police and assured that allegations against the army would not distract them from safeguarding the lives and property of the citizens.
Note that Madagali has a border with Sambisa forest and the most hits area by insurgents in Adamawa.
