Nwachukwu said troops also arrested some suspected terrorists
Troops of the Nigerian Army’s Operation Hadin Kai have killed three Boko Haram terrorists and arrested scores of their fighters, informants and logistic suppliers in recent encounters in the North East theatre of operation.
A statement from the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier-General Onyema Nwachukwu, said the suspected terrorists were ambushed by troops of 151 Task Force Battalion along Banki Junction – Miyanti road. Nwachukwu said troops, on July 15, also arrested some suspected terrorists who surrendered with members of their families while fleeing their enclaves.
He said the arrested suspects comprised of eleven adult male terrorists, five adult females and twelve children.
