More than 121 students were kidnapped by gunmen on July 5
Police in Kaduna say one of the kidnapped students of Bethel Baptist Secondary school in the Chikun local government area of the state has been rescued.
This followed the abduction of more than 121 students by gunmen on July 5.
Police say the rescued student, Abraham Aniya, was found roaming inside a forest in Tshohon Gaya village in Chikun local government area along with two other kidnap victims, Zaharaddeen Ibrahim and Nura Nuhu.
The other two victims had been abducted by bandits along Kaduna-Kachia road.
The police say the victims have been safely evacuated and will be released to their families at a later date.
