Joint Admissions Matriculation Board - JAMB – will no longer decide cut-off marks for students.
The decision on who gets into schools will now be taken by the various tertiary institutions.
This decision was taken after the 2021 policy meeting, chaired by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu.
JAMB registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede says various institutions suggested different cut-off marks and as a result, it was agreed that every school should make the decision.
