The Federal Government says the recent flooding in the country is responsible for the delay in the opening of the second Niger Bridge.
Minister of Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola says the only factor delaying the inauguration of the road is the construction of a four-kilometer link road on the bridge which the recent surge of flooding has impeded.
Mr. Fashola stated this while presenting the scorecard of the ministry under the current administration.
