The news begins with the release of twenty-eight students of Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna State, twenty days after they were kidnapped by bandits.
This brings to 31 the number of students that have been rescued or escaped from the kidnapers after 121 of them were abducted on July 5.
Speaking to reporters after their release, President of the Baptist Convention, Reverend Israel Akanji, said no ransom was paid for their release.
