Netflix’s Vice President of Content for the Middle East and Africa, Ben Amadasun, says that this year’s event honors the industry legends who laid the foundation for Nollywood.
He says this includes directors, producers, crew members, and the actors who captivate audiences worldwide.
Amadasun pledged that Netflix will remain committed to supporting the growth of the Nigerian film industry.
On her part, Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism & Creative Economy, Musawa Hannatu, also praised Netflix for its dedication to spotlighting Nigerian talent.
She acknowledged the platform’s significant role in exporting Nigerian culture and reshaping global perceptions of Nigeria.
