Owners of the more than 13,800 international passports lying fallow at the Lagos Passport offices have been asked to come get them. Passport Controller at the Lagos Passport Command, Milka Musa, says about 12,300 uncollected documents are at Ikoyi passport office, while about 1,500 are at the Festac office. And an uncertain number of passports also remain uncollected at the Ikeja passport office. He’s asking those who applied in any of the passport offices before September, 2021, to check their respective office of application for collection.

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has placed an indefinite suspension on the Nigeria Basketball Federation Elective Congress scheduled for Saturday. The Ministry's Permanent Secretary, Ismaila Abubakar, says the suspension followed a review on the crisis around the NBBF and attempts to resolve the factions in the basketball family. The ministry also notes that elections into the NBBF Board from the various constituencies, such as Zones, NAWIS, Military/Paramilitary, and others, stand.

Eight outstanding Nigerians in the UK have been honoured by the Nigerian-British Business Forum at an event in London for “breaking the glass ceiling’’. The awardees were praised for making impacts in their professions and for putting Nigeria on the global map of excellence. The event was tagged “Nigerian Achievers Awards’’.
