And in Lagos State, the celebration went without major issues with prayers across the state. The state Police Command deployed resources across the state to ensure a hitch-free celebration.
Area commanders, divisional police officers, heads of departments and special squads were directed to adequately secure their areas of jurisdiction.
Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi says officers were also directed to focus on critical Government infrastructure, banks, fun centres, mosques and highways.
