Rescue operations have started at the fire venue
There are reports of a fire outbreak early this morning at the popular Ladipo Market in the Mushin area of Lagos.
General Secretary of Rowland Traders Association, Ladipo, Christian Okeke confirmed the incident to our correspondent, Nnenna Okon. Okeke says the fire started between 6 and 7am today and two plazas were razed by the fire.
As at the time of this report, members of the Fire Service were still battling to put out the fire. Also, personnel of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and National Emergency Management Agency are on the ground to help with rescue operations.
