Crayon Reveals How Don Jazzy Discovered Him

“My album dropped when I was on tour with Rema and Victony, and I’m thankful that I joined Rema on tour”.

Mavin Records talented act, Crayon the "Ijo Laba Laba" cruiser, popped up on the Road Show with Gucci, following the release of his debut album "Trench To Triumph".

Crayon shared how he was discovered by Mavin In-house producer Baby Fresh despite the fact that he never posted any of his songs on any social media platform.

The artist also lets Gucci in on why he was depressed in 2015, stating lack of University admission was the core reason he was depressed, all his friends at that time had gained admission into college leaving him in the hood alone.

Crayon revealed how shocked he was when he discovered that he was under the radar of Mavins before getting signed, even though he never posted any of his songs on any social media platform, although he had released seven songs in the hood “I was a champion in my hood”.

Crayon released his 13-track debut album “Trench To Triumph” on the 21st of July 2023, adding to his incredible discography and he is more than happy about the way the album has been received by fans across the globe.
