Asake Reveals How Long It Took To Record His Debut Album

The man-of-the-hour YBNL superstar Asake speaks about how long it took for him to record his debut 12-track album.

The street-hop artist who stormed the Afrobeat space with multiple hit songs released his debut album “Mr. Money With The Vibe” on September 8th, 2022 under YBNL and Empire records, featuring Grammy-Award winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy and American rapper on this body of work.

In a conversation with famous media personality Ehiz Dadaboy, the artist reveals the duration of the album when asked about how long it took to record the album, Asake states that recording does not have a timeframe for him it all depends on his mood, some days if he feels like it he could record 7 or more songs, and he could go months without recording any song.

However, he credited his boss YBNL CEO Olamide for making the process easy for him through his creative contribution to the album.
