Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Tife Balogun, has officially launched his music career with the release of his debut EP, Champion’s Arrival.
In an Instagram video on Tuesday, the 14-year-old announced, “The Champion has arrived. My debut EP Champion’s Arrival is out now on all platforms.”
The post quickly went viral, drawing thousands of likes and exciting comments.
Tife had teased the project on October 28 with a short clip, boldly declaring, “Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton,” and “I’ve got zero competition.”
The five-track EP features songs like Champion Montana, Grind, Superstar, Champion Sound, and Champion, and is available on all major streaming platforms.
Fans have flooded social media with praise for his confident delivery and sound, with many saying the young artist may just be following in his father’s superstar footsteps.
