Baba further disclosed that some arrests had been made

Police Inspector-General Usman Baba says security agencies have successfully restored confidence and hope in residents of Abuja and its environs, after the earlier notice of terror threats issued by some embassies in the country.

Baba stated this when he addressed State House correspondents during the weekly ministerial briefing organized by the Presidential Communications Team in Abuja.

He dismissed claims that the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies did not take the threats seriously, but said instead, that the terror alerts were blown out of proportion.

Baba further disclosed that some arrests had been made in connection with the security threats in the FCT.
