If you are 18 years and above living in Lagos and haven’t had a covid-19 jab yet, here’s a chance. Starting tomorrow, August the 25th, 2nd phase of vaccination begins in the state.  Those eligible have been asked to register or enrol for the MODERNA vaccine via this E-Registration portal: https://nphcda.vaccination.gov.ng/

Successful enrolees will then proceed to any of the 183 vaccination sites picked at the point of registration.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed this while giving an update on the pandemic.

Still in Lagos, oxygen demand from patients at various isolation centres has risen to 400 cylinders daily. This is according to Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Here’s the scary part- the governor warns that the demand might increase in the next few weeks. He says demand rose from 75 cylinders per day at the beginning of the third wave, to over 400 cylinders per day, currently.

And that the state government is exploring several ways to increase its oxygen capacity, including partnering with the private sector.
