To remember the day, some youths came out today to hold a procession at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos
Today marks the 2nd remembrance of the shooting and killing of some EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Tollgate in Lagos.
The protesters, majorly youths were protesting against the extra-judicial killings perpetrated by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a Nigeria Police Force unit created to deal with crimes.
To remember the day, some youths came out today to hold a procession at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos.
Popular comedian Debo Adebayo, also known as Mr. Macaroni and the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, were part of the prominent names that joined the procession.
Meanwhile, officers of the Lagos State Police Command stormed the Lekki Toll Gate fully armed.
As the procession picked up, the officers fired Tear gas to disperse the protesters at the toll gate.

he Protesters and civilians including journalists had to leave the scene of the #EndSARS memorial procession.
We understand that some journalists were also harassed.
