Butswat said some suspects are being held
In Bayelsa, a manhunt has been launched to rescue the 80-year-old mother of the Secretary to Bayelsa State Government, Madam Betinah Benson, who was kidnapped at her home on Tuesday night by gunmen dressed in military fatigues.
A spokesperson for Bayelsa State Police Command, Asinim Butswat, said the manhunt is also aimed at arresting those involved in the abduction.
Butswat said some suspects are being held and questioned in connection with the abduction.
