ASUU to suspend its 8-month-old strike...
We are still expecting the outcome of the meeting of the Academic Union of Staff Universities.
The meeting is to deliberate over the ruling by the Appeal Court, ordering ASUU to suspend its 8-month-old strike with immediate effect.
ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke says the union will review the Appeal Court’s order before it will decide on the next line of action.
ASUU has been on strike since February 14th this year demanding for better welfare for its members as well as more funding for universities.
