Burna Boy is rising higher with the release of his highly anticipated album titled 'Love, Damini'.

The album, Afro-fusion in style, consists of 19 tracks and features Ed Sheeran, J Balvin, Popcaan, J Hus, Khalid, Kehlani, Blxst, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Victony.

Being able to release 19 tracks shows just how hard Burna boy worked.

He released the album on Thursday (July 7) via Atlantic Records/Spaceship Collective/Warner Music.

“That’s how I like to sign all my letters, because I didn’t know the proper [signoff],” he told Billboard of the new 19-track project in his cover story.

“It’s a bit personal [because] it’s bringing you into my head on my birthday — when you turn 31 and ain’t got no kids, everything is going good and bad at the same time. You reflect and then you get as lit as possible. Then you sleep and wake up and reflect again. I’m reflecting on everything — what I’m doing and what’s happening where I’m from. Where I’m from is a part of where I’m going.”

Love, Damini is Burna Boy’s 6th studio album, a follow-up to the Grammy-winning ‘Twice As Tall‘ LP released just about two years ago, which earned his highest placement on the Billboard 200 chart, debuting at No. 54 on the list.

Since the rollout of his previous album in 2020, Burna Boy has released singles like “Question” featuring Don Jazzy, “Want It All” featuring Polo G and “B. d.Or” featuring Wizkid, and of course, Last Last.

'Love, Damini' arrives just days after Burna Boy's 31st birthday.
