Police in Edo have rescued six persons kidnapped along Benin-Ekpoma Expressway, arrested two suspected kidnappers in the process. The victims were said to have been abducted around 6.40pm on Wednesday while on their way from Ekpoma to Benin.
Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Kontongs Bello, said the arrests and rescue was carried out by security personnel comprising safer highway, military and vigilance groups.
