Buhari emphasizes commitment to tackling terrorists and banditry in Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari says he is committed to tackling terrorists and bandits in the country. He made this known during a summit by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and Partners.

We are also getting reports that majority Leader in Anambra State House of Assembly, Nnamdi Okafor is dead. His death was confirmed by the president of the Nigerians Citizens Association in South Africa, Benjamin Okoli. We are yet to get the full details of the cause of Okafor’s  demise.

Contrary to reports, the federal government is insisting that Nigeria has enough medical doctors. And for medical doctors that are planning to leave the country or that have left already, the government says there are also plans to replace them. So says the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire made this known in Abuja during a media conference.

Amidst numerous complaints from Nigerians, the police has reiterated that officers do not have the right to search phones. Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, during a teevee interview yesterday, insists police officers cannot check people’s phones because these are personal properties of the individuals.
