‎Manchester City defeated Chelsea 1-0 to win the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

‎The match, played in front of a packed crowd, was settled by a moment of brilliance in the second half, as Antoine Semenyo scored the only goal of the encounter in the 72nd minute.

The forward produced an audacious flicked finish from close range after connecting with a low pass from Erling Haaland.

‎The final began cautiously, with both sides struggling to create clear-cut chances in the opening half, which ended goalless. Manchester City dominated possession for long spells, while Chelsea remained organised defensively and looked to threaten on the counter.

‎Chelsea improved after the break and enjoyed their best spell of the match, but were unable to convert their chances.

Enzo Fernandez and Joao Pedro came close, while the Blues also saw penalty appeals waved away during key moments of the contest.

‎City’s quality ultimately proved decisive, with Pep Guardiola’s substitutions adding fresh energy as they saw out the game to secure victory.

‎The win marks another major trophy for Guardiola’s side and continues their dominance in domestic competitions, while also underlining their depth and experience in high-pressure matches.

‎For Chelsea, the defeat extends their struggles in domestic finals and caps a disappointing season, with the team unable to find the cutting edge needed to compete with the league’s top sides.
