Nigeria will hold general elections in Feb. 2023
The Independent National Electronic Commission says it has not jettisoned transmission of election results for the 2023 elections.
Now this clarification is coming after what it calls a misinterpretation arising from an interview with a National Newspaper that it has reverted to manual method of transmitting election results.
INEC National Commissioner Festus Okoye insists that INEC will continue with the electronic means of transmitting results even in the forthcoming 2023 General elections.
He added that electronic transmission has come to stay as it makes the process credible and transparent.
