EFCC refutes Mompha's claims

Uwajaren tells the public to discountenance Mompha's claims

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has now distanced itself from claims by popular social media figure Mompha whose real name is Ismaila Mustapha, that someone from the EFCC had tipped him to maintain a low profile following the arrest of his friend, Ray Hushpuppi.

Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC's spokesperson, said in a statement that the EFCC does not advise suspected internet fraudsters as Mompha is being tried for money laundering.

Uwajaren asks the public to discountenance Mompha's claims.
