Presidency defends Buhari's frequent medical trips

Mr Adesina wants Nigerians to understand the frequent trips

We begin at the Presidency where the frequent medical trips of President Muhammadu Buhari to the United Kingdom have been defended by staff following criticism by the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party. The president's spokesperson, Femi Adesina, says President Buhari is sticking to the medical team he has used for the past 40 years.

Mr Adesina also says it is advisable to stay with the medical team that knows one's history, provided the patient can afford it. President Buhari is currently in the UK participating in the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 2021-2025 after which he will spend a few days in London to check on his health.
