Nine million pupils have been benefitting from the programme
The Federal Government says it has enrolled more than nine million pupils into the National Home-Grown School Feeding programme in the country.
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development said nine million pupils have been benefitting from the programme in basic schools across the country.
The ministry said the programme, which employs over 100,000 cooks and 100,000 small-holder farmers, is expected to reach an additional five million pupils by 2023.
