When we taught she was over ,she came back ten times stronger. With the birth of her first child and the release of her second studio album "R.E.D" Mavin's first lady Tiwa Savage is a proof that hardwork and consistency truly pays off.

Tiwa Savage was hosted on the midday oasis show with Do2dtun and she opened up on how she got depressed trying to get back into shape after her first baby.

When speaking with Do2dtun she reiterates that she is more focused and has more energy after the birth of her first baby. When asked if she worked out she replied by saying..

"two weeks after I had my baby, I started killing myself in the Gym then I got very depressed." She further explained how her husband encouraged her to slow down and take it one at a time.

Speaking on negative comments thrown at her since the birth of her child, the songstress revealed that she really got upset and angry when people made negative comments at her new born baby who was only five months old at the time.

Although the drama that took place at the 2015 Headies is gradually phasing out,the singer didn't fail to chip in her two cents. She thought Korede Bello had a great year with his hit single "Godwin" and she described Reekado Banks' voice as being incredible. But also explained that the whole Mavin group actually and honestly expected Lil Kesh to receive the award for the highly coveted next rated category 'cause he had a strong year.

Her Album ''R.E.D''  released on the 19th December 2015, consists of heart warming songs which awaken emotions, features guest appearances from Don Jazzy, Olamide, Dr SID, Iceberg. One of her songs  "Olorun Mi" was inspired by the loss of Goldie and the Dana air crash.
